If your farm or primary production business was impacted by the East Coast Storms (from 18 May 2025), you may be eligible for up to $25,000 through the NSW Government’s Natural Disaster Relief Grant.
✅ Who Can Apply?
You may qualify if you:
✔ Operate a primary production business (farming, aquaculture, etc.)
✔ Are located in a declared disaster area (AGRN 1212 or 1198)
✔ Hold a current ABN
✔ Are registered as a primary producer with the ATO
✔ Earned at least $20,000/year from primary production
✔ Had at least 50% of total income from primary production in 1 of the last 5 years
✔ Suffered direct physical damage due to the disaster
✔ Intend to continue/re-establish operations in the same area
💰 Grant Breakdown
* $5,000 upfront (no invoices needed)
* Up to $20,000 more with valid tax invoices
* Covers: clean-up, fencing, infrastructure repairs, animal welfare, replanting, etc.
📅 Deadlines
* Apply by: 4 December 2025
* Claim finalisation by: 4 June 2026
